In my previous writing, I wrote about gallstones and abdominal pain. I was interested in this painful condition, the causes, and complications related to it. In this writing, I am interested in finding out if gallstones could be removed naturally, without any surgery. Richard Seah wrote in “The Good Life” blog about his work about removing gallstones, naturally and without surgery. In his blog, he provides the following the following procedure for removing gallstone without surgery.

HOW TO REMOVE GALLSTONES NATURALLY

1. For the initial 5 days, drink four or five servings of apple juice every day. Newly squeezed or manufactured apple juice is acceptable. Or consume four or five apples, whatever you prefer. Apple juice softens the gallstones. Throughout the 5 days, consume normally.

2. On the 6th day, take no dinner. However, eat the morning meal and lunch as always, and it is OK to drink water or other light-weight liquids at night, except for hearty soup.

3. At 6 pm, take a teaspoon of Epsom salt (the mineral magnesium sulphate) with a glass of warm water.

4. At Eight pm, do it again. Epsom salt or magnesium sulphate opens the gallbladder ducts.

5. At 10 pm hours, take half cup olive oil (or sesame oil) along with one-half glass of fresh lemon juice. Mix it well and drink it. The oil lubricates the stones for no difficulty in their passageway for the duration of this concluding step to eradicate gallstones in a natural way.

6. Immediately after this, rest or otherwise lie down and relax. Don't exercise.

Results: The next morning, you will discover green stones in the feces.

Warnings

Gallstones may not be everyone's concern. However, removing gallstones is a good idea. At worst, they could lead to cancer. At a minimum, they are very painful. The abdominal pain may startunder the rib cage and migrate to the shoulder blades. The pain is extensive and controls your entire body. Richard Seah offered many warnings. Firstly, he offered “NO GUARANTEES” that the about the natural cure he described in this blog will remove gallstones. He clearly said, it MAY NOT WORK for everyone. Secondly, he said that he tried the cure, and it appears to work. Furthermore, he said that other people had tried it, and they had some positive reaction to the natural cure. An important part of his testimony was that he received the information from Dr. Lai Chiu Nan.

Dr. Lai Chiu Nan

Andrew Wong, as well as many others, wrote about Dr. Lai Chiu Nan teaching and cures. I was curious about her identity and background. For this reason, I processed a Google search trying to find more information about her. I found many articles, Blog posts and YouTube videos about her teaching and cures. However, I found no writing by her about any scientific evidence that her cure actually works.

Andrew Wong blog implies that Dr. Lai Chiu-Nan written works are in the Chinese language. Due to this limitation, all of Dr. Lai Chiu-Nan writings are not available for us to examine. Mr. Wong wrote that Dr. Lai Chiu-Nan contribution is in her teaching and sharing her knowledge and wisdom about wellness and happiness.

Does the scientific evidence support the effectiveness of Gallbladder and Liver flushes?

Peter Moran (MB, BS, BSc(Med), FRACS, FRCS(Eng))investigatedthe truth about gallbladder and liver flushes. His writings were published to discredit the natural cure published by Richard Seah and advocated by Dr. Lai Chiu Nan.

Apple Juice

Peter Moran wrote that ingesting apple juice cannot come into contact with stones in the gallbladder or bile ducts. He explained that a very effective sphincter muscleprevents intestinal elements from seepinginto the bile duct or gallbladder. Consequentlythere is nologicalexplanationto think that some of thesubstancesingestedwithin the flushes (natural oils, fruit juices, or mineral magnesium sulfate) mightsoften or otherwise modify thefeatures of gallstones in the gallbladder or bile channels. Furthermore, he indicated that “Bile salts including ursodeoxycholic acid can perform this process. However, the ingredients must be absorbed into the blood stream and processed by the liver beforethey cancustomize theability of bile tobreak down the stones.

Epsom Salts

Peter Moran wrote an explanation about the use of Epsom salts. He explained that the mineral magnesium sulphate (commonlyknown as Epsom Salts) could havean added effect, as itadditionally stimulates gallbladder shrinkage and relaxes the musclesmanipulating therelease of bile in to theintestines. However, it acts in the same way as would fat or oil, affecting therelease of cholecystokinin from the upper part of the small intestine channels. The accessibility of that hormone and the capability of the gallbladder to respond to it would be limitingvariables. The possibility ofachieving success is furtherdiminishedby the fact thatpatients with symptomatic gallstones often havereducedability of the gallbladder to empty (a factor in gallstone development), stones that are too bigto pass through, or an obstructed gallbladder duct (called the non-functioning gallbladder in other research).

Olive oil (or sesame oil)

Peter Moran indicated in his writing that the consuming the olive oil (or sesame oil) as described in Richard Seah’s blog could lead to gallbladder contraction. However, he explained that eatinga sizable oily supperwould likelystimulatestrong gallbladder contraction. He wrote that eatinga substantialoilymealmighthelpexpelsmall gallstones or even, almost never, a whole harvest of tiny gallstones or sludge. As a result, the ritualistic methodexplained Richard Seah is probably notnecessary. He indicated that similar reaction can be obtained by consuming whole fat milk and a Mars bar.

Conclusion

Peter Moran does not dispute that after following the procedure advocated by Dr. Lai Chiu Nan green stones are found in the stools. He explained that although some of the stones displaya littlelikeness to gallstones, they aren't stones. He claimed they are simply bile-stained soaps manufactured by partial saponification from the oil.

Peter Moran investigated if gallstones could be expelled. He claimed that gallstones couldfrom time to time be removed from the gallbladder. However, he explained that there issome risk that stones over about 5mm acrosswill probablylodge in the bile duct. He wrote that the gallbladder couldspontaneouslyempty themselves of small stones, but he indicated that this israre.

Natural cures are very popular. However, for every cure, you will that someone trying to debunk or discredit the natural cure. Peter Moran’s effort to debunk Dr. Lai Chiu Nan’s cure may have succeeded in some people’s mind. However, it is up to you to form your own opinion. Did Peter Moran research debunked Dr. Lai Chiu Nan’s cure, or is her cure is an effective way of REMOVING GALLSTONES NATURALLY.
